cholar dal, radish sabzi and radish saag. My family has a thing of never wasting any part of a vegetable - all green on top of a vegetable gets made into saag. Cauliflower stems gets made data chochhori. Potato skins are lightly fried with posta seeds and so on... I love this no-waste policy - its eco friendly and sometimes we tend throw away the most fibrous and nutritious parts... thanks, mum and grandmom for passing this food tradition down.
Hi friends I am new to i health, don't remember the date when i joined i health but took this website seriously from 9th March onwards. I was not aware that i can post my entry in health diary. I took two good habits, skipping and meals after every two hours. I was in kota last week and weighed myself just for fun and find out that i lost 3 kgs, I think i have check ones again as i am not sure, that this can happen. ones i will be sure about the same will update. Hope the weighing machine was not wrong.

Today I really wanted to catch up on some good amount of sleep, so woke up late..had oats with milk and dry fruits for breakfast, had cauliflower, oats and moong daal khichdi with a boiled egg for lunch..i m really fond of moong dal
..BUDDIES, PLEASE SUGGEST SOME NICE RECIPIES WITH MOONG DAAL?? had some ragi and oats biscuits while working at office as it was quite a busy day for me. In the evening, had an orange and a fruit bowl comprising of water melon, musk melon, chiku, black grapes, bananas, and papayas. However, was feeling like something crunchy so had some baked chips
..had no time for dinner in office so had some soya milk and a chicken puff (the only food I am guilty of having today
)..after coming back had a slice of brown bread with peanut butter and a glass of warm milk..
..i don't know how to make chilla but I am an amateur cook..i don't think I can make such complicated stuff

Today I got up early went for a long walk had oats and apple in breakfast then went to market and purchased a kit to check B.P. and Blood sugar at home .Then I used this kit.In lunch I had green vegetables,whole pulses and chapaties made from multigrain flour.Read books and didn't watch TV.
today i got up early but didn't go to walk, we are three friends who go walking me jinny and madhuri. we have lots of fun and enjoy our walking... we decided to take one day off our walking i know its not really needed but we just to it. but rest of the day we continue without missing a day... i follow all my habits. and i know i am moving to a healthier and happier life!!!
Today I went for my regular morning walk of 45 to 50 min . I generally walk 4000 and above steps in my morning walk . I walked extra 1500 to 2000 steps in the evening also today . walked from one room to another room and went to the close by market walking this way . I tried and added extra exercise to my todays routine .
As usual wake up at 5 am. Walk for one hour. Doing light exercise 20 min...Then household works. Four small meals a day. I started taking small portions of food. I kept one small bowl and I measure cooked rice in that bowl and eat it. Stopped eating sweets and avoiding fried food and switched to fiber rich foods, leafy vegetables, green salad .fruits, pulses and grains. I cut back my computer time and Surfing very less. I’ve had extremely odd sleeping patterns. I would go to bed at 12 sometime 1 am. Till I sleep I read books or listen to music because I was working so much, and even with adequate sleeping hours, I was always tired and out of energy throughout the day. So I changed my pattern. In morning have a health drink prepared freshly not the ready one.I am giving this to my son regularly. As he skips breakfast sometimes.As a sports boy he needs more energy.4 Almonds,4 pistas, 6 raisins , 4 dates , 2 figs , 1 walnut soak the above in water in night and in morning grind it as a paste and mix it with cool or warm milk.Its taste good. It helps to avoid constipation ,.
Yesterday missed my morning walk. Today I was determined to get back to my morning walk. Did 30 mins of brisk walk
felt so energized and happy after that

since last one month I am avoiding fried food and switched to fiber rich food like vegetables,fruits,whole pulses and grains.At least two to three times a day I am taking stretch break and watching less TV.
